Filmmakers: Darren Aronofsky

No matter how overrated or underrated you might think this filmmaker is, whether you love his work or absolutely despise his work, it's still hard to deny that Darren Aronofsky is taking his rightful place as one of the heavier hitting players in the film industry today. Now, I don't mean heavy hitting in the way of that his films are very financially successful. I'm saying that he's a heavy hitter in the way of that he knows how to tell a story well. He's very good at really drawing out emotions in his films and exploring narratives in a very poetic and possibly artistic way. He's a filmmaker that is definitely gaining momentum with every film he makes and doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon.
